This morning the magic community lost a dear friend. At 6:37AM EDT on June 8th, 2010 Meagan Michelle Nuehring (25)  passed away at Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was experiencing complications from a ruptured ovarian cyst. The condition caused an infection which spread quickly to her kidneys and eventually into her heart, where during emergency surgery she went into cardiac arrest and succumbed.

Meagan was born on March 20, 1985 in Henderson, NV just outside of Las Vegas. Growing up in the Vegas community she was surrounded by the arts and magic for the majority of her life. When she was 16 she started her magic career working for an illusion builder in Vegas where she served as a body double during construction to test designs. After graduation she moved to Florida to attend Florida Southern College where she received a double bachelor's degree in Theater Management and Business Administration. Shortly after relocating to Florida she joined the ranks in the Walt Disney World Entertainment Department where she performed her "dream job" in the resorts daily shows and parades.

After graduating from college she teamed up with a co-worker to form Magic Talent, Inc. For the past 3 years she has served as operations director, president, and mentor for the organization. She recently started working on projects with Vincent Marra and The Magic Network.

Meagan is most remembered for her compassion, her ability to solve problems with ease and her love of life and nature. Her two true loves on the planet are magic and the beach, for as she would say; "No magic or illusion in the world can compare to the true beauty of the sea."

Meagan is survived by her parents Greg Nuehring, Esquire and Mrs. Lisa Nuehring, as well as her younger brother Phillep.

In memory of Meagan MTi will host, in her honor, a broken wand memorial service which is TBA.

It greatly saddens me to be the one to share this news with everyone. She was my best friend, my business partner, my assistant, my confidant, and she taught me how to fly. I dedicate all that MTI is and will become in her honor, for without her it wouldn't be what it is today. Meagan, every time I take the stage I know you'll be there with me pulling me out of those 'oops' moments that we get in to so many times. I owe my career to you, for you truly are the inspiration for every thing I do. You and I shared similar philosophies on many aspects of life, and you have taught me the most important lesson of all... Live each moment to the fullest, regret nothing, love every thing and everyone and celebrate today for you never know if it will be your last. Peace, Love and Compassion because there is No Day But Today.

You will be missed, I love you and in my heart forever you shall go... Fallen but never forgotten.
